Success at Provincial Anti-Drugs Tournament

The inaugural Provincial Anti-Drugs Tournament kicked off with a bang on March 9th, 2024, at Seke 1 High School, where the journey began at the district level. Securing victory at the district level propelled Seke 1 High School to the provincial stage, where expectations soared.

Throughout the tournament, both on and off the field, the atmosphere was electric. Players poured their hearts and souls into every match, showcasing determination and sportsmanship. Despite the intense competition, our contingent, including standout players from CSPRO Academy, displayed exceptional skill and resilience.

Although Seke 1 High School narrowly missed the championship, falling short to Glen Norah 2 High School in a thrilling final, part of the highlight was undoubtedly a CSPRO Academy youngster, Munyaradzi Mushaninga’s recognition as the Player of the Tournament for his stellar midfield performance. Seke 1 High School’s journey, which began at the district level, culminated in a podium finish, a testament to its dedication and preparation for the upcoming school football calendar.

This was a remarkable feat for Seke 1 High School in preparation for the upcoming second term schools football calendar. Coach M. Zengeni aims to propel his squad to the NASH games, which is the highest school’s soccer tournament in Zimbabwe, a feat he achieved with CSPRO Academy president, Mr. C Nhamoinesu as students at Seke 1 High School some decades ago.

Seke 1 High School and CSPRO Academy’s journey continues, fueled by determination and a commitment to empower the local youngsters via education and football.
